अयं बन्धुरयं नेति गणना लघुचेतसाम् ।

“This person is kin, that person is not”—such distinctions belong to narrow minds. For the generous-hearted, the whole world is family.
anuvāka is an ode to the depth and versatility of Indian philosophy. It was born from a genuine love for the timeless wisdom of the staggeringly vast body of philosophical texts, the imprint of which can be found in our lives today—whether in the arts, movies or even modern self-help. We’re inspired by the relevance of Indian philosophy across cultures, races and religions.
Our T-shirts are shaped by a love of typography, each design structured around a passage drawn from this vast body of texts. We’ve started with the Bhagavad Gita and Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras—a fitting beginning. True to our ethos, we're exploring more and exploring widely.
Sanskrit gives the T-shirts their visual character; the passages speak to experiences familiar in modern life—wanting recognition, navigating uncertainty, finding focus and living more intentionally.
These shlokas are about what moves us and how to shape a life well-lived, guiding us towards empowerment, strength, courage and freedom.
All we ask is a pause for consideration. We’ll bring the well-designed T-shirt.
