Don’t Overthink It
Yoga Sutra I.2
This is the kind of tee that makes getting dressed feel uncomplicated. Cut in a relaxed, oversized shape from soft bio-washed cotton, it stays quiet at the front and lets Yoga Sutra I.2 take up space across the back. The easy drape works beautifully with washed denim, fluid trousers or a sharply tailored jacket. In Raven Black, Sandy Beige or Chalk White, each colour gives the Sanskrit a different mood.
About your tulsi mala
Tulsi is revered in Hindu tradition and regarded as auspicious, with a longstanding place in daily worship and devotion. A tulsi mala carries that significance in a simple strand of wooden beads.
Wear it as a necklace, on its own or alongside your everyday jewellery—a small connection to a living tradition.
We’re including one with every Anuvaka T-shirt as a gesture of goodwill and a thank-you from us.

Yoga Sutra I.2
योगश्चित्तवृत्तिनिरोधः|
Yoga is the cessation of the fluctuations of the mind.
Overthinking is the bane of modern-day existence. We replay conversations from the past, some from decades ago, and think of what we could have said or shouldn’t have said. We spend days thinking of scenarios that usually never come to pass. We can be exhausted from a day we have lived once and rehearsed several times. Fortunately, yoga philosophy has an antidote to this fatigue.

Don’t Overthink It
Overthinking is the bane of modern-day existence.
In his commentary on the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, B.K.S. Iyengar emphasises the cultivation of discipline through which we can quieten a busy mind. In a life of constant stimulation, that discipline asks us to create space for practice, to breathe through restlessness, and to quietly observe distractions without getting swayed by them. The quiet mind is something we cultivate proactively, rather than waiting for life to provide it.
In Chapter 1, Sutra 2 of the Yoga Sutras, Patanjali states: Yoga is the cessation of the fluctuations of the mind.
